University Recreation

UREC offers a variety of Esports in the forms of both leagues, tournaments, and free play each semester. They also have a discord to connect and engage with students directly into the gaming community.

Game Room

The Game Room provides many different gaming opportunities with both PC and console games as well as table and board games that can be played at your leisure. It is a great place to come hang out with friends, take a break between classes, and relieve some stress.

There are a vast number of different gaming and Esports student organizations available for students to join through the Center for Student Involvement and Inclusion. Each group is student-led, student-managed, and cultivates a sense of community around various components of gaming. These groups also host many of the tournaments and game nights around campus.

Living Learning Community

Students can live with fellow students that love to game while enjoying access to their own gaming area and even attending courses for credit focused on gaming. This community is focused on emphasizing game play, careers in gaming, and engaging with faculty who are enthusiastic about how games are made/work.

African American Gamers United Club

This organization is not limited to members of the African American population. Instead, it is open to people of all backgrounds and is centered on promoting black advocacy through nerd culture. We want to create a traditional space to talk about the benefits of nerd culture. We will have frequent game nights (board and card games), discussions about how to promote a healthy environment for nerds around campus, and connect our members with 沙巴官网 departments.
